Åland and Sweden Trip

Finally I was able to travel again for work.

It was to a exhibition in Mariehamn, Åland. The same place as 2019 but then it was durring spring and of course the weather was better.

When it was decided that I should do this trip I asked a friend if he as well was planning to visit the same exhibition.

He would so we decided that I should fly to Gothenburg where he lives and then travel together to Åland. Then we could catch up a little during the trip. then  I would stay at his place after the exhibition, when back in Gothenburg.

The trip was really great. First when landing in Sweden, No masks was needed to be used anymore. This was really feeling like heaven to me and a more back to normal life. I enjoyed from the first second.

The same regulation was valid for the exhibition. No masks was needed to be used during the event, dinner and cocktails, bar and the hotel. Normal as it used to be before COVID times. I can just say that the  WONDERFUL life was back to normal, even though it was only for a week.

So all in all a wonderful time to meet old friends again and catch up on life once more. Everyone felt the same as me. Just meeting each other again having a beer in the evening and just talk and see each others face.

I did not understand how much the mask thing really did make me feel. but after this experience it is like a prison without the normal freedom. In the end It was a break from this prison and it was really needed for me.
