Home office onboard Luna Azzurra in Loano

I was traveling to Loano for a few day to visit Luna Azzurra, when doing so take down our new dinghy as well.

The dinghy filled up the car that much that it would be impossible for Diana to come with me.

During the trip I also checked out a store in Varese where we in the future can stop for grocery shopping. This will make life easier in the future when traveling down. No need to go shopping after arrival onboard. The good thing we pass this grocery shop anyway on our way so no extra kilometers for this.

With the dinghy gone I can finally empty the garage at home. So our car can be parked inside for the rest of the winter.

When I was onboard I was testing to have home office from Luna Azzurra. This to see how the internet would work and if possible at all. In the end it work good from Loano.

In the end it was not that much work I could carrie out onboard as I thought. I started to install an electronic termostat for our fridge This to save energy and have a more even temperature in the fridge. As it is today the temperature is fluctuating between 0 to 10°C. With an electronic regulator we can set the min temperature exactly how we want it and it will keep it. Did not manage to finish it up though.

Then I changed the tap (blender) in the galley to a much better and practical one to use. When I had changed the tap in the galley I could mount this tap in the forward head (toilet). This tap have been leaking for some time and was of the same type as the old one in the galley. Managed to remove one mirror in the forward head. This so Diana can install a new mirror cabinet.

Started to install a LED lamp over the chart table on which we can switch from white to red light. Save precious energy with a LED and perfect to use red light when sailing during night time.

During my stay in Loano I had a good mixture of weather conditions, from 45knot and rain to sunny days with no wind at all. At least I was that lucky that every evening when I went for dinner the weather was perfect.
