Fake „Escargots“
Ingredients
- 8 pcs Mushrooms
- 2 dl White Wine
- 100 g (White) Bread, doesn’t have to be fresh (cut in cubes)
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 bunches Mixed Herbs, like parsley, basil, oregano…. (fine chopped)
- 1 clove Garlic (pressed)
- 50 g Butter, salted (melted)
- Pepper
Instructions
- Take the stem off the mushrooms and chop them
- Place the mushrooms in an ovenproof dish and add the wine
- Cut the bread in small cubes and roast in olive oil
- Add the chopped stems and fry everything for a few minutes
- Take it off the stove and put the mix in a bowl. Add the finely chopped herbs and press the garlic in. Then comes the butter, blend everything carefully. Season to taste with pepper
- Preheat the oven to 180° C
- Fill the lovely mix into the mushrooms and and bake the “Fake Escargots” in the middle of the oven, for about 20-25 minutes
Notes
Serve it as an exceptional starter or together with a nice salad as a main dish!
