Ghackets und Hörnli
Ingredients
- 300 g Macaroni in Switzerland they call it Hörnli
- 300 g Minced veggie meat quorn or as in this recipe minced soy meat (Ghackets)
- 1 pc Onion chopped
- 4 dl Brown sauce
- Salt, pepper, paprika powder and chili flakes
- 2 dl Apple puree
- 1 dl Red wine mixed with 5 dl water for the bouillon to cook the soy meat in
Instructions
- Start with cooking the minced soy meat for 10 minutes in water mixed with little red wine. When ready drain and press out the water from the meat
- Heat up a pan and add the chopped onion and fry it for a few minutes, Start heating up the water for the pasta at the same time
- Add the minced meat with the onion, mix everything together and let it cook for a few minutes
- Add the brown sauce mix. Stir everything together
- Add salt, pepper, paprika powder and some chili flakes. Mix and let it simmer on low temperature until the pasta is ready
- Ready to serve
Notes
Served normally in Switzerland together with apple puree but can as well be served with a salad.
A glas of Red wine fits good.
